Description
POSITION SUMMARY 
Provides team leadership, training, monitoring and supervision of Community Support staff. Assists the Sr. Manager of Adult Community Support with implementation of new projects and program expectations. Coordinates and participates in quarterly QI reviews for Community Support Teams.  Provides clinical documentation review of progress notes for CS Workers. Reviews transitions/program assignments/discharges for direct reports. Maintains a caseload with productivity expectations.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
• Provides oversight and guidance to CS Workers, assuring quality of services and documentation are consistent. 
• Provides direct weekly clinical oversight to assigned community support workers. 
• In coordination with Sr. Manager, responsible for hiring new CPRP staff, training supervisees and completing annual performance reviews for direct reports. 
• In coordination with Sr. Manager and QI, participate in peer review processes to ensure quality and compliance. 
• Ensure individual productivity goals are met through monitoring and oversight of direct reports. 
• Ensure timelines and quality standards are met according to DMH and CMS guidelines based on agency’s contractual requirements. 
• In collaboration with Sr. Manager, provides ongoing support and education regarding stage-wise interventions and motivational interviewing strategies for co-occurring disorders. 
• Coordinates and implements new projects with the assistance of Sr Manager. 
• Serves as a resource for treatment team and is available to staff problematic or crisis situations which arise requiring crisis clinical discussion for best practice outcomes. 
• Participates in assessment team and crisis reviews. 
• Coordinates CPRP program assignments with CS, Transitional CS worker, and teams. 
• Coordinates program assignments in AVATAR with administrative assistant and oversees the document routing of referrals to CPRP, transitions, as well as discharge summaries. 
• Works with CPRP Administrative Assistant regarding the distribution and accurate completion of the adult status reports for best outcome results. 
• Maintains knowledge of agency technology and is available for training purposes and ongoing monitoring and problem solving. 
• Meet weekly/monthly productivity requirements.
• Provides back-up coverage as needed for the team.
• Completes clinical documentation in AVATAR within 72 hours of service provided which clearly reflects interventions provided and necessity of those interventions. 
• Maintains required training and certifications. 
• Actively participates with the other agency leaders in staff meetings. 
• Other duties and/or responsibilities may be assigned by Sr. Manager/Director

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
Education/Certifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required. 
• Active driver’s license and minimum state-required auto-insurance. 
• CPR/First Aid Certification required 

Experience Required:
• 3 years minimum position-specific experience, preferably with supervision of staff. 
• 5+ years position-specific experience preferred. 

Required Knowledge:
• Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 
• Prior mental health and/or substance use knowledge required.
• Strong knowledge of clinical best practices in behavioral health.
• Prior healthcare technology software experience preferred. 

Skills/Abilities:
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to present healthcare information in an understandable manner to both individuals and groups as needed. 
• Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills. 
• The ability to travel locally as needed.

Salary range - 56 - 78k

New-hire offers are typically made between the minimum and midpoint of the range, based on relevant experience, education, qualifications, and internal equity. It is uncommon for new hires to be placed at or near the top of the range.
